Join us at H St Farms (on the rooftop of 910 Bladensburg RD. NE) for a seed and plant swapping event. We hope you had an amazing 2020 growing season- time to share your greatest success stories and biggest failures of the year with other gardeners and pass along the plant love by trading your plants with the other members of the community!

The event is free (although limited to 50 people on the rooftop at a time so please arrive early if you want to ensure your spot). Each participant will receive a free plant or seed pack on arrival so you can participate in Plant Swap even if you don’t already have a plant you want to trade.

The day’s schedule will look like this:

11.00-12.00 Propagation Class (Fee Applicable- please register)

12.00- 12.30 Seed Swap

12.30 – 1.00 House Plant / Rare Plant

1.00 – 1.30 Edible Plant / Rare Plant

1.30 – 2.00 House Plant/ Outdoors/ Native Plants

2:00-2:30 House Plant/ Rare Plant

2.00 – 3.00 Pumpkin Decoration Class (Fee Applicable- please register)

There are different time slots depending on what type of plant you are trading so please check the schedule for which slot(s) you would like to sign up for.

You can also join our Propagation Class or Pumpkin Decorating Class. Please sign up for these classes on Eventbrite. The number of participants is limited so make sure you sign up as soon as possible.

Any leftover items at the end of the swap will be given away to participants or donated to one of our affiliated school garden programs. Thank you for your interest and happy growing!

Social Distancing protocols: Masks must be worn at all times and we require everybody to stay 6 feet apart. We will be limiting the number of people allowed on the roof at one time to ensure we can keep up social distancing protocols.
