DIY Holiday Farm Wreath Making

  • Cultivate the City LLC 1201 Half Street Southeast Washington, DC, 20003 United States (map)

Join us for a relaxing activity that is family friendly and open to participants of all ages!

Avoid the long lines and crowded stores this Black Friday, and learn how to make your own wreath using freshly harvested or dried materials from our urban farms and local partners. Wreaths make great seasonal door hangers or table centerpieces. All participants will get to select their own components for their wreaths and options may include: grapevines, pinecones, rosemary, lavender, sage, thyme, olive branches, bay leaves, eucalyptus, dried peppers, pomegranates and lotus pods and more.

Whether on the door or right in the kitchen, these decorations are both fragrant and functional. Most of the herbs will dry out within a week and can be used in cooking and DIY health and beauty products for months.

Bring a piece of Cultivate the City home for the holidays!
